why the youths are being violent and indulged in crime.

The youths are supposed to be tomorrow's leaders but i don't know if they really know how tomorrow's leaders are supposed to behave. Everyday you hear of gun crimes, stabbings, fighting, drugs and heroine being sold on streets, etc all these crimes are caused mostly by youths and i wonder when and how the government is going to tackle these issues. How on earth does these youths get hold of guns to kill not only their gang rivals but innocent victims, the whole thing is making me sick and why do they think taking someones life is game.

By the way who is to be blamed for their evil deeds. Half of the blame goes to parents and the other half goes to the government beause i believe these most of these youths come from decent homes but when they don't have proper upbringing it contributes to their evil ways. When you have a teenage son or daughter, you instill that fear of God in him and you teach him or her what is wrong from what is right and the consequences of being a violent person or belonging to a gang when arrested will make him think twice before becoming a member of any street gang. I know this may sometimes not prevent him from commiting a crime but if as a parent you claim you love your child, then you don't have to give up on this child but to continue reminding him that you love him and do not want him to end up in jail or be killed.

The government claim they are tackling the issue of crime to the best ot their ability but i don't know how and when they are going to find a way of beating the violence plaguing Britain's streets once and for all. The thing is that when a thug is caught and arrested for killing his fellow human being, he is either given a minimal jail sentence or cautioned due to his age. one thing government has fail to realise is that weak jail senences are leaving vicious thugs to laugh at the court system and if the punishment does not fit the crime, the crimes will not stop.

Government should impose longer jail sentences for thugs who think they can carry knives and guns to attack and kill not only their rival gang members but innocent victims. Am sure this will help minimise crime. They should also provide a proper channel where youngsters are taught to expect more in life than being violent.

My only prayer is that these youths will one day come back to their senses and turn their lives around.
