What are the youths up to.

Why are our youth becoming dangerous.

Being a youth is a period between childhood and adult age and it's this stage in life that you are probably more energetic and mentally alert and so you are likely to explore more in life and discover new things, but unfortunately for some youths, curiousity has led them to a wrong path in life.

It is a parent's dream to see his child grow up and became a very successful person in life but when a child decides to give up on his dreams and indulges in criminal activities or evil acts in order to fit in,  then he becomes a nightmare not only to his parents but to the society.

The problem is that these kids that are involved in crimes and are becoming dangerous and violent on the streets are not matured enough to understand what they are doing. In the past you did get kids fighting and occassionally stabbing but now what you have is children carrying guns and weapons to defend themselves and cause problems. They are not even developed enough in their minds to realise how dangerous this weapons are and do not show any form of remorse when they stab or kill anyone. I believe they are only trying to prove that they are not weak or considered an outsider since these weapons are mainly used to defend themselves and to avoid being intimidated.

Is so frustrating as a mother to hear that your teenage son or daughter not only hangs around the street doing nothing but also hides knives and weapons on him or her in order to feel save. Now tell me how save they think they can be by handling dangerous weapons. This is really getting out of hand.

Government has a big role to play here by at least provide a channel where youngsters are taught to expect more in life and have more feeling of reliance than commiting crimes, from there they will start to regain their confidence back and start being trusted again.

Go down on your knees and beg GOD not to allow any of your child/children to be a victim and don't forget to tell to your children especially your teenage son or daughter that even if they decide to protect themselves with weapons, they are not sure if these weapons they carry will even give them the maximum protection they desire.
